From November, BrightHR will be integrated within the Starling Business Marketplace, making it easier for customers to access all their business information from just one place.

Once paired with a BrightHR account, customers will experience the convenience of receiving real-time HR updates, like seeing where their staff are working from or how many people are off on holiday, without ever leaving the Starling app.

Using BrightHR will also help guide Starling business customers into compliance as the Furlough Navigator tool enables business owners to make HMRC claims as straightforward and  stress-free as possible. This will be a huge help now that the Job Retention Scheme has been extended to the 1st of December.

Alan Price, CEO of BrightHR, said:

“BrightHR is delighted to be integrating with the Starling Business Marketplace. Just like Starling, our ambition is to support our customers continuously, to give them the best tools, software and advice to help their businesses thrive.

“To celebrate the launch of our new partnership, Starling business customers will also have free access BrightAdvice, our dedicated support phone line, where customers can speak to employment law experts at any time. It’s our way of supporting small businesses during this time when the way we live and work has changed beyond recognition.”

Helen Bierton, Chief Banking Officer at Starling Bank, said:

“The main purpose of the Starling Business Marketplace is to help our customers seamlessly run their businesses and save time on admin. Our new integration with BrightHR means customers will now be able to manage their HR affairs on one easy-to-use digital platform, helping them save time on HR admin and focus on growing their businesses.”

Mike Blundell, who recently launched Edu-Lettings, a service for schools that want to let out their facilities to local community groups, likes the integration between BrightHR and Starling. He said:

“We use BrightHR to securely store employee documents and school manuals. And we can upload digital copies of school manuals from our laptop and instantly update them if they change.

“I’d certainly recommend both the BrightHR and Starling apps.”
