Sema4 Appoints Human Resources Executive Karen White as Chief People Officer

Sema4, a patient-centered health intelligence company, today announced that Karen White has joined the company as Chief People Officer and will lead its human capital organization. Ms. White brings more than 25 years of experience in strategy, organization, and leadership development, and human resources, including a decade in the healthcare and life sciences industry. At Sema4, she will be responsible for all elements of the people strategy, with a particular focus on talent, diversity, inclusion, culture, and employee experience.

Ms. White has come to Sema4 from Syneos Health, a fully integrated biopharmaceutical solutions organization, where she was Vice President of Human Resources for Commercial Solutions. Among other things, she led the Global Commercial team through a merger and transition to processes in a public company. Prior to joining Syneos Health, Ms. White held senior HR roles at other companies in the healthcare space, including inVentiv Health Consulting and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Before that, Ms. White held positions at large global organizations such as Goldman Sachs, IBM, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
