Standard Insurance Company announced that Doug Stearns has been promoted to second vice president of Application and Solution Delivery Strategic Partner Management.
“I’m excited to have him in this role and further refine how we effectively manage strategic partners to bring greater value to The Standard and our customers.”
In his new role in the IT organization, Stearns will lead management of The Standard’s strategic information technology partners who provide application life-cycle management of business-critical systems and deliver solutions for portfolio initiatives.

Stearns joined The Standard in 1993 and has held various leadership roles with responsibility for IT infrastructure, solutions and engineering as well as operations. Most recently, he was senior director of IT Application Solutions Delivery.

Stearns earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and management from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington.
