ExecOnline’s Hoyun Kim Assumes New Head of Inclusion Role in Addition to Chief Legal Officer Responsibilities
ExecOnline, the pioneer of online leadership development for enterprises, announced it has expanded its leadership team with the hiring of Matt Castaldo as the company’s new chief human resources officer (CHRO); additionally, the company’s current chief legal officer, Hoyun Kim, will assume new responsibilities as the chief legal officer & head of inclusion.
In his role, Matt will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s talent strategy and all other critical HR operations such as employee benefits, wellness programs, and supporting the organization’s continued growth.

Prior to joining ExecOnline, Matt served as CHRO for one of the world’s largest international law firms McDermott Will & Emery where he led all HR operations and programs for the firm’s 2,500 employees, including employee wellness, hiring and talent strategies, and diversity and equity initiatives. Matt also spent 15 years at CEB, leading research and advisory firm that worked with more than 10,000 enterprises across the world.

Hoyun Kim will proudly serve as the company’s first head of inclusion, a critical role to ExecOnline’s mission to cultivate more diverse and inclusive leaders at the world’s largest companies. Hoyun joined ExecOnline in 2016 and developed the legal and people operations departments. In this new role, she will be responsible for leading diversity and inclusion as a business imperative, while continuing to oversee ExecOnline’s legal strategy and operations.
