Alternative student transportation company ALC Schools (ALC) announced the appointment of Connie Capone as Chief Financial Officer. In addition to her experience as a CFO, Capone joins ALC with over 20 years of experience ranging from venture capital investing and board positions to executive leadership and employee development.

Capone has served in a variety of senior leadership roles, most recently as CFO and VP of Customer Experience for SpotHero, which nearly tripled revenue under her leadership. At SpotHero, she partnered with the CEO in all aspects of the business and helped implement and execute corporate strategies.

Prior to her time at SpotHero, Capone served as a CFO, CAO, CEO, and President at companies such as GeoDigital International/Ushr in Atlanta, Ga.; GreenOhm in Highland Park, Ill.; and ePropertyData in Seattle, Wash. She was integral in many business aspects at each of these companies and led many of the capital funding exercises designed to make those businesses thrive. Capone is also a volunteer advocate for CASA of Lake County, Ill., which serves children and youth who have experienced abuse and neglect.
Capone will be based out of ALC Schools’ corporate headquarters location in Denver, Colo.
