WeWork Received $1.5 Billion Funding from Softbank, Executed Several Governance Changes

Additionally, several governance changes came into effect too, including the reconstitution of the Board of Directors at WeWork. The financing package from SoftBank also contains $5 billion in new debt financing. Founder of the firm, Adam Neumann, has now become a Board observer. His voting rights stay with the Board.
