The SIE exam was introduced by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in October 2018, and is a prerequisite for certain individuals working within the finance, insurance, and services industry. It includes all basic knowledge of financial services, such as securities trading and research analysis. Within this new expansion, WOS will now provide training to include different exam levels in addition to the SIE exam: the SIE and Series 63, and the SIE, Series 63 and Series 6.
With this addition, WOS will offer their potential partners a workforce that will be uniquely prepared to understand securities products, customer accounts, and prohibited activities; knowing upfront that their applicants are invested, capable and committed.
Since the SIE exam was introduced, WOS has successfully trained over 20 veterans to successfully pass the exam and become employed.
