“At K12, we know providing online learning is complex, but we strive to make it simple”

K12 has more than 20 years of experience delivering online and in-person instruction. The company leverages its expertise in integrated platforms and technology, which are time-tested and built specifically for online learning, to deliver a personalized learning experience to students across the country.

This fall, the company will begin using its newly redesigned online school (OLS) for kindergarten through fifth grade.

With updated visual designs and improved speed, accessibility, and scalability, the new OLS will provide an even better learning experience for the youngest learners in the K12-powered education ecosystem. In addition, K12’s new fully responsive mobile-friendly platform will allow OLS learners to work from anywhere more independently.

“At K12, we know providing online learning is complex, but we strive to make it simple,” said Doug McCollum, K12’s Senior Vice President of Products and Technology. “Our goal is to help ensure that students can spend more time learning, and teachers can spend more time teaching. The OLS redesign and other resource enhancements help make this goal possible.”

Gone are the days when students need to remember multiple usernames and passwords. Included in K12’s new technology is ClassLink LaunchPad—an award-winning platform that gives students single sign-on access to the entire K12 library of apps, links, and school resources from one location and on any device.
