Florida Atlantic University’s Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing and Cross Country Healthcare Announce Partnership Aimed at Advancing the Nursing Profession

Cross Country Healthcare, a national leader in providing innovative healthcare workforce solutions and staffing services, and Florida Atlantic University’s Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing, a leader in caring science, announced a partnership to pursue collaborative research, educational and training activities of mutual interest that advance the nursing profession.

Cross Country Healthcare partners with Florida Atlantic University’s Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing to pursue collaborative research, education and training that advance the nursing profession.

A key objective of the partnership will be to jointly support nurses and their education through Florida Atlantic University (FAU) continuing educational programs, scholarships, internships, residency and research opportunities. Cross Country Healthcare has pledged $10,000 to provide 10 scholarships to nursing students throughout 2020.

Other critical objectives of the partnership include:

  • Joint support to pursue new, collaborative research, including shared use of specialized scientific equipment, physical facilities and other services.
  • Unique thought leadership, co-authored papers, op-eds, blogs and other articles aimed at advancing and prioritizing the nursing profession.
  • Announcements of new research findings or outcomes to further the education and progression of nursing and other key stakeholders.
