eLearning Brothers Continues Expansion, Acquires The Game Agency

Game-Based Learning Enables More Effective Development of Remote Workers

Learning solutions company eLearning Brothers announced the acquisition of The Game Agency. The move solidifies eLearning Brothers’ position as a one-stop-shop for online learning by adding the “power of play,” proven to improve retention and enhance company culture. Game-based learning is experiencing an annual growth of almost 30 percent; with U.S. sales expected to reach $7.5 Billion by 2025 (2020 Metaari report).

eLearning Brothers is creating a unique learning ecosystem to better serve learning professionals worldwide. This past year, the world has witnessed a historic shift in the job market due to the Covid-19 pandemic. While some companies used to offer the perk of working from home, it has now become the norm for most businesses. By 2025, an estimated 70% of the workforce will be working remotely at least five days a month.

“The massive increase in the remote workforce demands learning solutions that engage employees and build teams differently than ever before,” states Andrew Scivally, CEO for eLearning Brothers. “The Game Agency’s award-winning track record allows us to rapidly empower companies with the best tools for professional development and employee productivity.”

Game-based learning addresses several key challenges and solutions for training and development:

1)

69% of employees report feeling detached from teammates and 58% say working from home has made it difficult for them to see the larger purpose of their job within the organization. Games help employees establish positive professional connections and stay mentally and emotionally dialed into virtual training and daily meetings.

2)

Only 36% of U.S. employees (more than twice the worldwide average) are engaged with their work. Engaged employees have 10% higher customer ratings, 17% higher productivity, and 21% greater profitability than their peers.

3)

Games are the most engaging form of training, offering employees a fun and safe place to try, fail, learn, try again, and succeed.

Working in collaboration since 2017, the two companies jointly serve clients including Chick-Fil-A, IHS Towers, and PayPal. The Game Agency’s other 250 clients include Bayer, Colgate Palmolive, Comcast, Facebook, Kellogg, Kimberly Clark, Nestle, Salesforce, Siemens, Wells Fargo, and Whole Foods. The Game Agency is the creator of The Training Arcade®, a DIY game-authoring tool, that features ten game mechanics including the “official” Jeopardy!® and Wheel of Fortune® games for Training and Education.
