Transact, the leader in innovative credential and payment solutions for a connected campus, announced the appointment of Mechelle King as vice president for inclusion, diversity, and engagement. Ms. King brings to Transact nearly 30 years of human resources expertise and experience in the technology, healthcare, and financial services industries. Most recently, she served as vice president, human resources business partner at Caliber Home Loans, Inc.

Ms. King will guide Transact’s diversity, equity, and inclusion policies and programs internally, and she will play a key role in growing impactful and collaborative client outreach and engagement programs for the company. Her mission-critical work will support each of the 500+ members of Transact’s growing team and its 1,750+ clients.

Ms. King began her human resources career in financial services with Bank of America and EMC Mortgage, where she held leadership roles supporting high volume call centers, payment and fulfillment operations, and client servicing within the healthcare services industry at Express Scripts. Ms. King also held key human resources business partner roles at CoreLogic and Caliber Home Loans, where she led the strategy for mergers and acquisitions, workforce planning, organizational transformation, talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement programs. Additionally, Ms. King led various DEI leadership pipeline programs for junior military officers, women in production retail sales, and Dallas Year Up interns while at CoreLogic and Caliber.
Ms. King earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Texas and a Master of Human Resource Management degree from Dallas Baptist University.
