ADP DataCloud Introduces DEI Benchmarks To Address Workplace Gaps

Companies are increasing their focus on improving diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace and DEI programs will bring about the needed effect. ADP DataCloud, the award-winning people analytics solution, is introducing DEI Benchmarks to aid companies in rooting their plans and target their actions. ADP’s suite has been recognized as 2021 Top HR Product.

The first-of-its-kind DEI benchmarks will replace outdated, inaccurate survey data. ADP’s benchmarks will offer live HR and compensation data from its vast workforce dataset of over 30 million+ employees and 920,000 companies. The new feature will be integrated into ADP DataCloud’s DEI Dashboard and serving the benchmarks in-line to allow companies to compare their DEI metrics against similar companies (and local populations) through census data.

The chief diversity and talent officer at ADP, Bob Lockett, said that as companies take a fresh look at their DEI efforts, transparency is required into the people data as they drive change. To this, the chief data officer at ADP, Jack Berkowitz, added that till now, companies found it hard to compare their DEI metrics with their competitors. ADP’s new diversity benchmarking data will help them examine the trends running across industries, organization sizes, worker demographics, and geographies. They can now make decisions for the greatest impact. ADP’s comprehensive DEI offering will pair these insights with strategic dashboards and guided action to facilitate organizations in tracking progress and achieving their goals.

Each capability is designed such that companies can easily assess, plan and act to affect measurable change:

  • Turnkey story-based insights – receive DEI trends’ surfaced insights across the organization
  • Proactive recommendations and best practices – receive tailored action plans that predict the cost of filling pay gaps based on gender, race, and ethnicity after identifying them for your company
  • Embedded DEI nudges – access DEI insights for managers to drive scalable action within their HCM workflows
  • Research-based surveys – conduct surveys aimed to evaluate DEI concepts with psychometrically validated questions
