Pacific Workplaces Announces Safe Offices for Vaccinated Users Only

  • Flexible office space provider rolls out Safe Offices for Vax’d Users Program

Pacific Workplaces, the San Francisco-based provider of flexible offices and coworking with 18 locations, announces that it is requiring people to show proof of vaccination to participate in its “Safe Offices for Vax’d Users” program.

With this program, members can use a dedicated desk in a private office that may typically be shared with one to three people who must all be fully vaccinated. “Many people are uncomfortable commingling with unvaccinated folks,” said Laurent Dhollande, CEO of Pacific Workplaces. “Through this program, they can feel comfortable that the work environment is safe.”

According to Morning Consult, which tracks how safe employees feel going back to work, 64% of current remote workers want all their coworkers to be vaccinated before they return.

In a recent study on the Future of Work, Accenture reports that 83% of workers said that a hybrid model would be optimal. The main reasons for people to resist going back to the office, other than safety, include a desire to eliminate commute time and to have a more flexible schedule.

Pacific Workplaces, which manages proximity flex office and coworking locations throughout the Bay Area, provides a solution that combines the benefits of working in a professional and safe environment with an office close to home.

Dhollande added: “Given the hesitancy that people have with going back to the office due to the pandemic, we wanted to make sure that our members could feel as safe in their Pacific Workplaces office as they are at home, with the added benefit of social interactions with other professionals should they chose to do so. We also wanted to offer them an inexpensive option to ease their way back to their nearby professional office.”

Prices vary from $399 to $499/month in most locations for a month-to-month dedicated desk option in a shared private office. Private offices with a single workstation are also available at all Pacific Workplaces locations.
