Walmart’s Ranveer Singh Joins Apna as the Head of Engineering: Communities

Accelerating the efforts to strengthen its leadership across verticals, apna.co, India’s largest jobs and professional networking platform has announced the appointment of Ranveer Singh as the Head of Engineering: Communities. Ranveer will focus on scaling the community product at apna. apna communities are a unique offering by the platform wherein users can build their professional networks, seek support and advice from experts and other users and discuss professional topics. Ranveer will be closely working with Chief Operating Officer of Communities, Karthik Manivannan and will further build the product to drive business growth.

Ranveer brings with him over 17 years of experience in building consumer-tech products, custom software to solve complex real-time business functions at scale as well as engineered exciting new products and features for end-users. He has worked with top international brands including Walmart, JP Morgan, Agora Analytics, and IBM. In his last role at Walmart, Ranveer led Walmart.com’s Order Management and Fulfillment management systems. Among several key tech led business improvements, he recently led the launch of Order management System on a new tech stack that improved OMS throughput to 4X and real-time order journey monitoring platform that substantially improved customer experience.
