UCLA Extension Spring Quarter Enrollments Underway

UCLA Extension, a national leader in continuing education, begins Spring Quarter instruction on March 28, as professionals look for better career opportunities in a tight labor market with a look toward a post-pandemic economy.

“The current trend reflects interest and momentum by adult learners to upskill, change, or pursue subjects based on new interests or purpose”

In today’s economy, professionals look to capitalize on in-demand jobs in accounting and finance, digital technology, entertainment, health sciences, and sustainability. UCLA Extension programs align with the job growth outlook by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Occupational Employment Projections, 2020-30. The trend of employees leaving their jobs has reached an all-time high of 4.4 million people and this data suggests workers are using supply/demand leverage in the labor market to get better salaries and benefits.
